How to search for a position # in SAP when I have the PMIS position #
Scenario: You are starting the process to complete a Personnel Change Request (PCR) for an action in the new Beacon system (SAP) and need to find the position # in SAP for the employee. Your source documentation (e.g. PD105) only contains the current PMIS position #. This instruction will show you step by step how you can use the PMIS position # to find the new SAP position # in the system.
Step 1: You are on the second screen of the Employee Action Request (T-Code: ZPAA076). Select the drop down next to EE Position field on the Employee Action Request screen.

Step 4: Enter the last 12 digits of the PMIS # in the `Object abbreviation'
field (only the last 12 characters, i.e. leave the first three out). Example: If the PMIS # is 425003010603382 you will enter only 003010603382 in the field). See below
