My Benefits - Participation Overview |

Purpose
Perform this procedure to display benefit plan enrollments for a specified period.
The Participation Overview service is part of the 'My Benefits' page in ESS. This service allows users to see what benefit plans they are enrolled in for a specified period and the plan details.
The Participation Overview service shows the following information:
· Plan Type and Plan Name
· Selected option
· Dependents and beneficiaries
· Employee cost
Prerequisite
This instruction assumes that you have already logged on to the BEACON Employee Portal (ESS). If you need instructions on how to log on, reference the Log on to the Employee Portal job aid.
1. After logging on, the user will be defaulted to the BEACON Home Page.

2. Click the My Data (ESS) 
tab.

Information: The Overview page shows all the available services in ESS (e.g. Benefits, Time Management, etc.).
3. There are three ways to display the ESS Benefits page. Use one of the methods below to display the "my Benefits" page.

Select the Workset tab. The Workset tabs are located below the Business Package tab (i.e. ESS, MSS, etc.). |

Click the icon for the Workset, 'My Benefits.' |

Click the main hyperlink for the Workset, 'My Benefits.' |

Information: The My Benefits page includes all the associated web applications for benefits, the links to access the applications, and a short description of each application (if applicable).
4. To go to the Participation Overview application, click the hyperlink 
.

Information: The participation overview is displayed in a list format with the plans you are currently enrolled in. The default display is based on the current date.
Information: To view plan enrollment from another timeframe (e.g. previous year), enter a new date and click 
5. To view the details of a plan, select the corresponding radio button and click

Information: The Plan Details screen provides the following information: the participation start effective date, plan option, dependent coverage, employee cost, and cost deduction frequency.

You are done reviewing your plan details and want to return to the Area page. |
