Access Transaction:

1. Update the following required and optional fields:

2. Click Enter button.

Display Cost Element: Initial Screen

3. Update the following required and optional fields:

Controlling Area

Code identifying the highest level of the legal entity for which cost center accounting and profit center accounting can be consolidated

Enter value in Controlling Area.

Example: NC01

4. Click Continue (Enter) button.

Information:  The small pop up window requesting the Controlling Area will only display the first time the module is accessed.  The Controlling Area is NC01.

5. Update the following required and optional fields:

Code identifying the Controlling equivalent of a General Ledger expense account

Enter value in Cost Element.

Example: 50112000

6. Click Enter button.

Information:  Use the matchcode at the end of the cost element field to search for a cost element.   Just key in the desired cost element if it is known.

7. Click Back (F3) button.

8. The system task is complete.
